Yes, you can view the list of shareholders of private company in India by logging into Ministry Of Corporate Affairs and payment of fees. The document to be viewed is Annual Return filed with Form 20B or Form MGT - 7.

1. go to http://mca.gov.in/MCA21/index.html
2. Create an account
3. Go to ‘View Public Documents’
4. Enter the name of the company you’re looking for
5. Check in the list whether Form 20B (for filing Annual Return) is available for that company.
6. If it is, then make the payment and download this Form. It costs RS50.
7. In the Form go to attachments and you will see a complete list of shareholders.
